THE ASK:
Find a way to get Gen Z and Millennials to buy and eat Velveeta during the worst season for Velveeta: hot summer months.
THE IDEA:
Velveeta is all about finding over the top ways to keep snacking interesting. With Gen Z (and Millennials) drinking less, but socializing just as much as ever, we wanted to bring a time-honored drinking game to a new arena - the snack table.
THE RESULT:
Queso Pong! A revolutionary way to indulge in an age old game while enjoying a delicious and fun cheese product that’s not often bought in the summer. All at everyone’s favorite spot at a party - the snack table.

Queso Pong Kit
As a way to get people excited about playing Queso Pong, we developed a custom Queso Pong kit people could enter to win by tagging their teammates on social. It came complete with the coveted Queso Crown - a reversible bucket hat.
